10月8日に香川県東かがわ市の白鳥神社でNPO法人徳島県古武道協会主催東かがわ市白鳥神社秋季大祭古武道演武大会を開催いたしました。
徳島に安土桃山時代に伝えられ、現在でも久武館道場で守り続けられている阿州柳生神影流兵法剣術、阿州柳生神影流伝承舞を白鳥神社で無事演武することができました。
白鳥神社は日本武尊を祀る名社で、秋季大祭の神事として御輿渡や香川県無形文化財の虎獅子が奉納されています。
今年の秋季大祭は、平日に開催され夜に行われましたが幻想粋な賑やかなお祭りとなりました。
On October 8th, the NPO Tokushima Prefecture Kobudo Association hosted the Higashikagawa City Shirotori Shrine Autumn Grand Festival Kobudo Demonstration at Shirotori Shrine in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture.
We successfully performed the Ashū Yagyū Shinkage-ryū Heihō Kenshū (Ashū Yagyū Shinkage-ryū Martial Arts Sword Techniques) and the Ashū Yagyū Shinkage-ryū Den’shō Mai (Ashū Yagyū Shinkage-ryū Traditional Dance), which were introduced to Tokushima during the Azuchi-Momoyama period and are still preserved today at the Kyūbukan Dojo, at Shirotori Shrine.
Shiratori Shrine is a renowned shrine dedicated to Prince Yamato Takeru.
As part of the Autumn Grand Festival rituals, the Mikoshi procession and the Tiger Lion Dance, designated as an Intangible Cultural Property of Kagawa Prefecture, were dedicated.
This year’s Autumn Grand Festival, held on a weekday evening, became a fantastically lively and vibrant festival.
