7月12日の日曜日に剣山山頂でNPO法人徳島県古武道協会主催剣山山頂古武道演武大会を開催いたします。
徳島に安土桃山時代に伝えられた阿州柳生神影流兵法剣術や伝承舞を披露致します。
剣山は現在リフトもあり登山客が多く訪れていますが、戦前は武道信仰の厚い霊山で徳島の銘菓・ぶどう饅頭もこの歴史背景から生まれました。
徳島県古武道協会は、徳島に伝承された古武道の保存振興だけではなく、各神社での演武大会の開催や他流派との交流も目的とされています。
当日は少し時間の余裕もありますので参加希望の方がいましたら徳島県古武道協会へ問い合わせ頂けましたら調整させて頂きます。
On Sunday, July 12, the NPO Tokushima Prefecture Kobudo Association will host the Mount Tsurugi Summit Kobudo Demonstration Tournament at the summit of Mount Tsurugi.
The event will feature demonstrations of the A-shu Yagyu Shinkage-ryu martial arts swordsmanship and traditional dances, which were introduced to Tokushima during the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
Mount Tsurugi now has a ski lift and attracts many hikers, but before World War II, it was a sacred mountain deeply revered by practitioners of martial arts; Tokushima’s famous confection, the “budou manju,” was born out of this historical context.
The Tokushima Prefecture Kobudo Association aims not only to preserve and promote the traditional martial arts passed down in Tokushima but also to hold demonstration events at various shrines and foster exchanges with other schools.
