７月19日に徳島市蔵本町の蔵本八坂神社祇園祭のイベントでNPO法人徳島県古武道協会主催蔵本八坂神社古武道演武大会を開催いたします。
徳島に安土桃山時代に伝えられた阿州柳生神影流兵法剣術が演武されます。
蔵本八坂神社は素戔嗚尊を祀る武道信仰の厚い名社で数多くのイベントが開催されています。
徳島県古武道協会は、徳島に伝承された古武道の保存振興だけではなく、各神社での演武大会の開催や他流派との交流も目的とされています。
当日は少し時間の余裕もありますので参加希望の方がいましたら徳島県古武道協会へ問い合わせ頂けましたら調整させて頂きます。
On July 19, a kobudo demonstration will be held at Kuramoto Yasaka Shrine in Kuramoto-cho, Tokushima City, as part of the Kuramoto Yasaka Shrine Gion Festival, sponsored by the NPO Tokushima Kobudo Association.
The demonstration will feature the Ashu Yagyu Shinkage Ryu swordsmanship, which was introduced to Tokushima in the Azuchi-Momoyama period (1573-1603).
Kuramoto Yasaka Shrine is a famous shrine dedicated to Susanoo-no-Mikoto, a god of martial arts, where many events are held.
The Tokushima Kobudo Association aims not only to preserve and promote kobudo, which has been handed down in Tokushima, but also to hold demonstration tournaments at various shrines and exchange with other schools.
